(Keynote) Befriending Failure

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Failure.  It is something that everyone can relate to because everyone has failed at one point or another.  Perhaps it was a new service that users didn’t embrace or a project that missed a deadline.  The fear of failure can keep us from being creative and innovative in our work—or at its worst paralyze us, keeping us from accomplishing our goals.  How can we use failure to our best advantage?  By changing personal and organizational responses to failure we can not only better achieve our goals, we are in a stronger position to meet user needs and exceed user expectations.

As a coach and consultant I enable libraries to develop superior service through exceptional leadership. I love what I do, so come talk to me about it. I also miss working in a library so please tell me about what's going on at yours! And if you are overdosed on libraries come talk to me about time travel, because I love that, too.
