This presentation will examine the logistics of implementing and maintaining an iPad lending program, featuring the diverse experiences of two small academic libraries. We will cover a variety of topics ranging from early planning to ideas for the future, including hardware and software requirements, device management, security issues, content selection, user accountability, policy development, and a bit of campus marketing.   Whether you’re working with your IT department or have been considering a DIY approach, this session has something for everyone. Representatives from Logan University's Learning Resources Center and Fontbonne University's Taylor Library will share their experiences across the entire process. Attendees will come away with a better understanding of how universities are choosing to use iPads, the issues they are encountering, and how they are approaching and overcoming those challenges.
